The People Who Make Oblong

Oblong is precisely its people. We're directly manifest in every line of g-speak code, every pixel of design, every idea captured. Our labs are open and social and taller than wide. We prize invention, industry, and comedy. All this is important because Oblong has to be a great place to work: fundamentally changing how humans use computers is a vigorous job and a long-haul proposition. But it's also important because many of the qualities we design into our software and systems are those we most like in our colleagues.

Oblong Industries' innovative technologies and ideas are transforming the way people work, create, and collaborate. Founded by MIT graduates whose work spanned real time computer graphics systems, large-scale visualization techniques, and new methods for human-machine interaction, our technology has its roots in over two decades of research at MIT's Media Laboratory. Oblong's executive team is dedicated to and passionate about fulfilling our commitment to leading the evolution of human-machine interface and bringing that technology to users everywhere. With headquarters in Los Angeles and offices in Barcelona and Boston, Oblong currently serves Fortune 500 enterprise customers, government agencies, and universities.
